How Many Bitcoin Whole-Coiners Are There? How Many Will Ever Be? It's Much Less Than You Think! 🪙

It was announced recently that slightly over 1 Million Bitcoin Wallets hold a full Bitcoin. This doesn't mean 1 Million people though, as many Bitcoiners have multiple wallets. Approx 20% of the 21 Million Bitcoin supply is lost forever. 4% gets lost a year (Death, sent to a Dead Address, poor storage of Private Key, etc.). MicroStrategy bought 152,333 BTC. BlackRock and others want a Billions of dollars worth for their Spot ETFs. All of this and more must be factored in.

So how many people own a full Bitcoin? How many can own one if they wanted to? The number is really, really small when you do the math.

Shrimp = Less than 1 full Bitcoin
Crab = Between 1 - 10 full Bitcoin
Eight-Limbed Octopi = 11 - 99 Bitcoin
Dolphin = 100 - 500 Bitcoin
Shark = 501 - 1,000 full Bitcoin
Whale = 1,001 - 5,000 Bitcoin
