When and how to bring up solar. There's two reasons people buy things. Things they want a lot. But then there's things we need. Necessity, root word need. So, what we need to do is position solar and our solution as a necessity.

Many roofing companies don't realize that when you are doing solar and roofing they're separate divisions, it's a separate company on paper for most roofing companies for liability and licensing, which means separate marketing dollars, which means separate sales process and dollars, which means separate training, which means separate operations.

So looking at these separately in your business is the number one pain point and pitfall and mistake that I continually see over and over and over again. What we wanna do is rewire our thinking. The big piece is leading with the roof and then adding solar to the roof. What you can do is position this roof with solar is going to be cheaper every month than just a roof alone.
