....Weekly Garden Update....25/07/23

....starting in the big greenhouse, we now have chillies coming on that I'm very excited about, also got tomatoes (still not ripe) and peppers and some leeks that really need planting out....behind the greenhouse we've got a carpet of chard and the tree spinach has gone wild just as I'd hoped it would....in the baths we have started cropping the main onions and left the pickling onions, the carrots are doing ok and we have had loads of gherkins and cucumbers too....in the little greenhouse the tomatoes are growing nicely and some outside too, then we've got some spuds in bags in the far bed....in the main veg bed, all the garlic has been cropped, some of the onions and we've had potatoes every week for quite a while....herbs and flowers are looking lovely on the porch and finally in the brasicca cage, we've pulled some of the cauliflower that wasn't doing very well and put some sprouts in instead, kale is doing really well as are the leeks and beetroot....mowed the grass (again) and I've really got to get on with some weeding....
