‘Barbie’ & Jason Aldean: What’s the Outrage REALLY About? | Ep 834

Jason Aldean’s song, “Try That in a Small Town,” and its music video rocketed to the top of the iTunes charts in less than 24 hours. The video was then pulled from country music channel CMT due to controversy over the lyrics and imagery in the video. Aldean refused to back down in the face of the controversy, saying, “Cancel culture is bulls**t.” The only people whining about the song are people who have no understanding of history. Ironically, these same people probably love rap music despite the fact that it’s derogatory to women and regularly promotes violence. The “Barbie” movie and “Oppenheimer” drew thousands of people to theaters this weekend for their releases. Of course, Chad decided to go see “Barbie.” He breaks down the movie, and you’ll probably be surprised to hear that he actually liked it. While being a movie about a child’s toy, it’s actually filled with a lot of existential themes and touches on some important topics, including being pro-motherhood. Hunter Biden’s old friend and longtime business partner Devon Archer is set to testify before the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability about the 24 or more instances when he allegedly witnessed Joe Biden take part in his son’s business calls or in-person meetings with foreign nationals or prospective investors. Yet again, we are presented with clear evidence that Joe Biden was involved in influence-peddling through his son Hunter. Will anything actually happen? Probably not because we live in a country with a two-tier justice system. Thousands of diversity and equity officers have been laid off because they’re costing companies millions, and people are tired of having their DEI nonsense shoved down their throats. Fox is reportedly matching donations to left-wing charities like the Satanic Temple and Planned Parenthood. So much for being a conservative network.
