Beijing just announced a 6.3% GDP growth for the second quarter of 2023. During the same period, China’s domestic consumption tax decreased by 13.4% year-on-year. Corporate income tax fell 5.4%. Customs duties down 13.6%. Corporate export tax rebate is down 9.2%. Vehicle purchase tax, down 3.6%. Stamp duty down 14.6%. Among them, the stamp duty on securities transactions is down 31% year-on-year. Natural resource tax, down 12.6%. Value-added tax and consumption tax on imported goods is down 9.5%.
