$300 in 1 hour Welding Aluminum in the Field

The Customer needed it NOW! So I happily obliged. As a mobile welder I have to have a minimum to cover my truck moving. So like most of the guys in my area I charge $300 to show up. That will buy you 3hours of my time. Fortunately this job was 5 minutes away and with set up and break down only took me about a hour! The customer was happy to have such quick service and I rolled on to the next job. The Wc 24 controller I use to hook my spool gun to my trailblazer has paid for itself 100 times over. It really made welding aluminum on the fly easy.
