Santa Fe police officer rescues 87-year-old woman from car fire

Santa Fe Police Officer Jimmy Madison comes to the aid of an 87-year-old Santa Fe woman who had been driving on a flat tire to see her doctor at Christus St. Vincent Hospital on October 28, 2016 when the the tire caught fire. Officer Madison was able to get the woman out of her vehicle in time and he even rescued her cane and then put out the tire fire. The woman had to be checked for smoke inhalation in the emergency room but appeared to be doing fine. Credit to 'Santa Fe Police Public Information Officer (PIO)'.
