Medical doctors might have been trained to treat human, but surely they are able to help someone who is not human if the need calls for it. When a white cat found itself trapped in the rotating door in front of the Özel Akgün Tem Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey, a team from the ER ran to its aid.

One of the doctors performed CPR on the injured cat, while the rest of the team provided assistance for what could be called as a terrible accident caused by the cat's innate curiosity. Security footage from the entrance of the hospital shows a gentleman exiting the lobby through the same rotating door the cat wanted to enter. The door was operated manually and he didn't see the animal entering, so he pushed the door and smashed the cat between the two panels.

After a swift CPR treatment, the cat was rushed inside the hospital for some oxygen and the doctor consulted a veterinarian on what medications to give the unlucky animal and how to administer them.

The ER doctor who was first on the scene, named Halil Akyürek, decided to thoroughly change this cat's luck and adopted her on the spot. He named the cat Mucize, which means “Miracle".
