A recent Pew Research survey found that about 4 in 10 Americans say they're very or somewhat likely to consider buying an electric vehicle for their next car.

Half say they aren't too likely or aren't likely at all.

However, Democrats, Democrat-leaning Independents, younger adults, and people living in urban areas are the most likely.
