The First Camouflaging Dinosaur In The Jurassic Park Franchise

Hey guys! In this video I go over the first camouflaging dinosaur in the Jurassic Park Franchise! I really wanted to talk about something that happens in the Michael Crichton novels. And that something is the camouflaguing of certain dinosaur species. Now if we look at the 4th installment of the film series, we can see that one of the unique attributes that the Indominus Rex had, was the ability to camouflage it’s body and blend in with it’s surrounding environment. Most Jurassic fans will notice that this is something that was lifted directly from the movie’s source material, but only a select few of them will probably be able to pinpoint EVERY individual creature that was able to do this. Whenever somebody mentions the word CAMOUFLAGE in Jurassic Park, most people that are somewhat aware of the novels will immediately think of the Carnotaurus scene from The Lost World. This is more than likely due to the fact that it was noticeably left out of the film adaptation of the same name, despite being something that a ton of people had wanted to see. Whenever people talk about stuff that they wish hadn’t been left out of the movies, this particular moment ALWAYS gets brought up in the conversation.
