The Death of Edgar Allan Poe

How did American novelist, poet, journalist Edgar Allan Poe (1809-1849) die? His last words weren't dedicated to his sweet late wife, Virginia Eliza, nor to Lenore or the Raven. Instead, he called out "Reynolds" for hours during his four days of hallucinations. Who was Reynolds? Was it Jeremiah N. Reynolds to whom Poe owed a $10 debt? Was it a Judge Henry R. Reynolds engaged in ballot harvesting ("cooping")? The mystery remains.
