Astrology has such has great guidelines but that is true for the one that beliefs that they are just that guidelines. You of course as Abraham suggests have pre-determined intentions but they are broad in nature and so only in this powerful now, can we really know what are your powerful now intentions. Expecting something to go well, always work in your favor. But of course that is "if " you really believe? So the best thing one can do is always get in alignment and then determine your expectations.
