Religious Dedication: After her husband's death, she dedicated her life to religion

Founding: In 1345, she founded the Order of the Most Holy Savior (the Bridgettines) at Vadstena

Tempered Temperament: She had a bad temperament with a propensity to irritation and explosions

Trials: She learned to control her temperament, but later faced a great trial as the same strong passion returned

Obedience and Trust: St. Bridget recommenced her efforts and trusted in Divine Providence, reaching the apex of her spiritual life before dying at peace with God
