Peru police clash with protesters demanding president step down

Protesters and police clashed in Lima on Saturday during renewed demonstrations against Peru's interim President Dina Boluarte, where demonstrators are demanding she step down and hold elections. Women wearing traditional costumes marched through the streets of downtown Lima, one of them denouncing a "traitorous, genocidal government".
