Assessment of Sodom's Unrighteousness | Genesis 18:16-21

God takes the opportunity of timely judgment on Sodom to instruct Abraham concerning righteousness, justice, and mercy.
Abraham, as the seminal head of a new nation, was given an example of extreme national judgment, made possible by the perforation of nations at Babel. God will exterminate nations which oppose Him on earth.
Abraham takes the opportunity to learn about God's character and to test the doctrine of a faithful remnant.
