In this example, sacrifices on behalf of Israel. Intercession on behalf of humanity was a sacred and holy process in the Old Testament, and is even more sacred and holy now in the new covenant. Don’t take praying and caring for people’s needs lightly. God has always been meticulous with how clean that process should be.
