Actually, her bad fur was the only reason she survived. If chinchilla has bad fur, it usually gets killed. In that case, my friend goes to chinchilla farm and they give him those "damaged" animals. Then he finds people on the internet who love animals and are willing to adopt a chinchilla. There... Sad story with a little bit of luck for some chinchillas.
If my cats wouldn't think her a mouse I'd take her. It's a Shane that fur farms still exist
