WHITE MAGIC 1983

Recently uncovered audio of a WHITE MAGIC performance from 1983 led to the creation of this video. The Bayside High School acid rock band was recorded LIVE on October 31, 1983, at Backstage Studio, Bay Terrace, Queens.

Most of the audio was in good condition considering it was sitting in a box for 40 years, but some of the tape was unsalvageable. This is a compilation of the best available audio.

Originally recorded from the soundboard direct to tape, the audio in this presentation comes from a digitized second generation copy that was rescued and mastered by Sam Cesnak at Darkwood Studio, Torrington,CT.
The performance includes two original songs: Leaf of Live and Not A Man's Life. Covers of Moby Dick and Black Sabbath round out this 16-minute collection that includes vintage footage of Flushing and Bayside, Queens circa 1983 and still images of the band.
