Catch 22 policy & cannabis -
ASking "economically disproportionately effected" To Jump sky high Financial Hurdles to Participate.
Catch 22 if u ask me. MARYLAND need to stand Together as 1 voice, Potency argument is silly, I'll explain why.

We need an open market where people have the ability to enter as a business person, without sky high financial barriers, or hoops to jump through to proove ones business acumen to the industrial "elite."

"ELITE" who were put where they are W/ HALF A MILLION DOLLARS 2 MARYLAND & a LAWSUIT against the MMCC for not adhering to the social equity policy that was supposed to have made this a more fair equitable competition.

There are alot of issues with that policy not just the failure to implement it according to legislation. Such as the FACT 2 of the 3 💵 poorest counties, Allegany and Garrett won't qualify for social equity policy given the 150% arrest rate related to cannabis stipulation.
That needs to be fixed considering Garrett County has more police 🚨 per capita than Balitimore, that's per capita, but still insane and it bc of i68 and drug runs.

As of Now the top and only profittable cannabis businesses in the US, all operate in side Maryland. They do so essentially, as a cONglomerate of cannabis corporations seeking to keep prices higher and allow no entrepreneurial endeavoring, no healthy competition.

This roll out is ensuring there WILL NOT be a Market with fair equitable competition as much as they use the term social equity. the failed to inplement the policy already. Mackie Barch just recently bought Kannavis. Kannavis was one of the only female owned dispensaries in Maryland. He was 1 the15 original rich white men, who had half a million to throw at Maryland.

The recreational restriction of dabs, has absolutely nothing to do with potency. Potency is a product of the illicit market, where one needed exponentially so, due to risk elevate ones potency to maximize price per sale and minimize cost per sale.
The reason they restrict rec. Users from loose concentrate, is the process. It's about things which one would not consider when reading the legislation unless you have been inside a lab or are familiar with processing procedure.
Distillate, essentially has to go through the expensive steps of making Davbs, but then those persons with that same over
Head as a processor as industry processors, is restricted from, if I'm being generous 20% of total sales revenue, concentrates being about 50% of total market value.

They have to cover all the same over head and distillate doesn't sell anywhere near as well well, people aren't going to buy it, and it's simply upholding the illicit shatter market in maryland.
I Would be confident in stating dab sales medicinally are far higher than distillate sales in bith medicinal and recreational, or its a close battle. Restricting one from half of that is absurd.
And that is crazy as shatter is easiest to ship so it comes from Cali most and its Hella easy to fake and ppl aren't the smartest about checking illicit dabs for quality, even a simple iso. Test to make sure it's not pine sap or something else.

In addition, saying potency is why dabs aren't allowed is a bit Null when they allow edibles, which lead the stats in admission to E R or just self reported people freaking tf out. Dabs aren't the leading cause of people over doing it to the point they feel its dangerous, that's edibles, and while it for most isn't dangerous, the argument is a notnat all valid even.

This does effect the recreational user, because prices won't change without a healthy and open abilitynfor competitoon to flourish. I am not even advocating a totally open free market, but atleast one where the "regulations" are not rigged against individuals literally just maintaining cannabis and its relationship with catch 22 policies.

P.O.V. "CANNABIS ELITE" aka current plan
Dear Maryland residents,

Some of the best amoung us Elite cannabis salesmen, you know because we control the Us market, they've decided you don't know how to run a business,.
Mackie Barch, owner of Culta cannabis said it best "...most people just don't know how to run a business, there shouldn't be an open market" " if your not in legislation, your gonna be crushed" (paraphrasing Statement on podcast when talking about colorados open market)

Sure you can operate, let us ask you the person we are hereby recognizing as being economically disproportionately effected by the war against cannabis, let us ask you for half the average citizens yearly sallary in a majority of the truely "disproportionately effected areas" 10k, for the smaller more regulated liscnece and well let you fight it out for less than half the number of liscences available in round two (to which industry has full ability to gain the majority of, that's why they can't conpete in round 1.)

Best wishes,

Your Local out of State Cannabis Corporation Conglomerate
(They all came in from another state already operable, like trulieve abandoning employees in Florida without proper severance pay to rush into Marylands Market, just1 example)
