Spearfish Canyon Half Marathon 2023

First time running the Spearfish Canyon Half Marathon. I found this race because my sister has done the 5K and wanted to do it again. I had a half marathon on schedule for the same weekend and made it happen. I was hoping for sub 2:45:00 and ended up surprising myself. The course has a -1300 ft elevation change, providing a fast race without feeling like you are bombing down a steep incline. The views are absolutely stunning when paired with the perfect weather we had that day, which made for an unbelievable experience.
