Most Rock aficionados believe that Roger Water's, Wish You Were Here, was solely a lament to the absence from Pink Floyd by Syd Barrett, a longtime compatriot and 'guru' of sorts to Roger...but Wish You Were Here was much more than just this, in fact, the song focused upon the One Thing that Syd Barrett Desired before all else in his life, which via Transcendental Meditation, was the Dire NEED for All of us to BE HERE NOW...

Thus, this song wasn't FOR Syd Barrett, it was ABOUT Syd Barrett, and in Truth it was FOR US, to Wake Up from our Slumber and Distractions so that we could learn to Still and Silence the Mind and in time, learn to let go of all Attachments and Thoughts, the DEAD WEIGHT of this World, for simply Trust in the Creator, so that we could become ONE with ALL, and in this Glorious state, it is said that we have achieved NOWNESS, the Art of Contentment, Peace of Mind, the Fulfillment of one's self within the Moment of the Now...

And this is the message that Roger wanted us to intuitively inherit from this Song, that to be Abel to Awaken to all of the Evils taking place right in front of our Noses, that we had to Go Within Ourselves, in Peace, forsaking the 'Out There' World or Noise and Chaos, for the Silence of God's Kingdom Within...and this leads to the Absence of Time, and Presence within the Now, BE HERE NOW...

So, take a Deep Breath, Blow a Kiss, Close your Two Looking Eyes, and SEE with your Third Eye to fully Innerstand the meaning to this Song...
