Netanyahu underwent an emergency procedure to have a pacemaker fitted

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had to go through an immediate surgical procedure for a condition called "transient heart block." This surgery was followed by the implantation of a pacemaker, which occurred after he spent a night in the hospital last week due to dehydration. The heart monitor that was placed during his previous hospitalization detected the heart block, prompting the need for urgent action. Fortunately, he is currently reported to be recuperating successfully from the surgery.
