Bull Cuddles Up To The Man Who Saved His Life

How do you say thanks to the person who saved your life? If you're this cow, you show him love. And that's exactly what he's doing since being saved from an industrial slaughterhouse.

When you look at him in the clip, you might never guess how tragic his life was. Salvador the cow was born in the dairy industry on a farm in Chile. Males are labeled as “useless" for the dairy farmers and sold as veal calves, the only way they will make the farmer a profit.

When found, Salvador was being forced into a 2 by 2 wooden crate, deprived of his mother’s love and care and fed only to enough to keep him alive. Sickly and confined, the calf was incredibly weak, until Animal Libre came to the rescue. Now, the calf that has all but given up on life can graze sweet juicy grass and receive all the cuddles he can handle at the hands of the caretakers at Santuario Igualdad Interespecie.

Heartwarming doesn’t even begin to describe the feeling we get as we see Salvador lounging in the sun with his caretaker and the man’s dog, being scratched on the chin and cuddling for days. It seems that no matter the species, every animal likes to be loved and pet.
