Bud Light made their situation worse by trying to appeal to everyone and addressing nobody's concerns. It's likely past the point of no return, but the examples on display here, show how you course correct and soldier on; instead of run and hide.

Jason Aldean is being cancelled for Try That in a Small Town. CMT pulled the video and the accusations of racism and bigotry are flying like they still mean something. At a Cincinnati concert, he addressed the situation perfectly, standing on his principles, and the crowd started chanting for him. He knows his audience, he knows the song, that's how you hold your ground and win.

If Bud Light was serious about courting the Gay community, they could have done so with more consumer awareness. Enter Gay Water, seriously, a canned cocktail marketed directly to the community. It too is unapologetically what it is and doesn't seek to be anything but. That is an example that anyone can learn from, regardless of your alcoholic or sexual needs.
