Reneita Smith, of College Park, Maryland, was driving a school bus full of 20 elementary school children on Monday, September 12, 2016 when it suddenly caught fire. Once the scary moment struck, her only concern was making sure that each and every child in her care was off that bus and safe - a heroic feat which was only possibly because of her quick-thinking actions. Dash-cam footage from the Branchville Volunteer Fire Company show the bus engulfed in flames after all 20 children were safe and away from the area. Something had to spark a fire which engulfed the school bus as there was no injuries after the driver's quick actions and periodical bus drills to get students on what to do incase of a fire or other emergency. By the time firefighters arrived on the scene the bus was well engulfed in fire.
