Moscow launched 16 missile strikes and more than 20 airstrikes on Ukraine's cities and soldiers in the last 24 hours, according to Ukraine. Russian Defence Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov says Ukraine has lost up to 170 servicemen. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine "will respond" to Russia's attacks after an artillery strike in Donetsk killed two children.
