Little girl's performance dominates European song contest
10-year-old Anastasia Petrik competed in the Junior Eurovision Contest with her song "Nebo" (Sky). With her unbelievable talent, she won. She was so good that 9 out of the 12 participating countries gave her a 1st place vote, which no one has ever received in the 13 year history of the contest. Talk about bright future!
It doesn't matter how old you are. If you have the gift, like Anastasia, the sky is the limit. Some people are just born with it. It is up to you what you want to do with that gift. Anastasia worked at it, and her persistence paid off, eventually winning this prestigious competition. You can really tell that she's feeling herself!
The children are the future. There are our next doctors, our next scientists, our next favorite music artists. Anastasia is a prime example of what is to come, and the future is looking bright.
