Listen carefully to how a narcissist / toxic person talks. A lot of the time what they are telling you or blaming you for is exactly the behaviour they are doing. They will tell the new supply how crazy you are, that you left them for someone else. So in the eyes of the new supply they are already thinking well this person is being honest and can be trusted. When in fact the new supply has no idea that the narcissist / toxic person is lying and manipulating them.
