Armageddon I The Ancient City Behind The Biblical Story

Armageddon or the ancient city otherwise known as Megiddo is the setting in the New Testament for a final battle between the forces of good and evil at the end of time. Archeologists believe that the first settlements in the strategic site in northern Israel appeared about 6,000 years ago. However, the iconic city experienced its own 'apocalypse' after it burned to the ground during a devastating fire 3,000 years ago.
