In fact, the country went from having the majority of states either completely deny citizens the ability to conceal carry — to now, having the majority of states allow people to conceal carry without a permit.

Amidst this backdrop, California Governor Gavin Newsom has just proposed a nationwide 28th Amendment to the US Constitution, which would severely limit people’s access to guns.
