Ukraine Top Ranks Fraying? Zelensky Sacks Ambassador Who Faulted Him, Fires 'Overspending' Minister

Speculation is rife after Ukraine’s President Zelensky dismissed Kyiv’s ambassador to the UK, Vadym Prystaiko, on July 21. A presidential order, which also removed him as Kyiv's representative to the International Maritime Organization, gave no reason for the dismissal. However, Prystaiko had recently been caught in the diplomatic crossfire between Zelensky and UK Defence Minister Ben Wallace.
