Sweden Fire Spreads | Mob Tries To Storm Danish Embassy In Iraq After Quran Burnt In Copenhagen

Hundreds of supporters of Iraq's influential Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr marched towards Baghdad's Green Zone early on Saturday, as they protested the burning of the Quran in Europe.
The protest came after reports that anti-Muslim protesters had desecrated the holy book in front of the Iraqi embassy in Denmark, in scenes echoing earlier incidents in Sweden.
Security forces blocked the al Jumhuriya bridge, which leads to the Green Zone, to stop the demonstrators from reaching the Danish embassy in the fortified area.
All roads and bridges leading to the Zone were blocked, with riot police deployed behind barbed wire.
