Easy Black Eyed Peas Recipe - Soul Food

Good morning and welcome to another Sunday! I need to call it soul food Sunday, what do you think? Anyways a few days ago we had made some hot water corn bread. Now you have something to make all together!

Ingredients:

1 lb. Dried Black-Eyed Peas
4 cups Chicken Broth or Stock
1/4 cup Butter
1 Jalapeno diced small (optional)
1 medium Onion
2 Ham Hocks or Ham Bone or Turkey Necks
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper
