INSANELY EASY Summer Cocktails | Bourbon

Here are two bourbon cocktails for your summer time enjoyment!

BLACKBERRY OLD FASHIONED
Ingredients
4 blackberries
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 Slice of lemon
4 dashes angostura bitters
4 oz bourbon
ice (optional)
blackberries for garnish (optional)

Place the blackberries, sugar, and lemon slice in a low ball cocktail glass. Top with bitters.
Muddle together with a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon. Be careful with the lemon. You do not want to muddle the rind, just the juicy, pulpy part.
Top off with your favorite rye or bourbon, stir together, and add ice if desired. Garnish with blackberries (optional).

BERRY BOURBON SUNRISE
2 medium fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered
2 ounces freshly squeezed orange juice
2 oz bourbon
ice
strawberry and orange slice for garnish (optional)

Place the strawberries in a low ball cocktail. Muddle until well mashed.
Fill your glass with ice and then top with the orange juice and bourbon. Gently stir to combine.
Garnish with fresh strawberry and sliced orange (optional). Enjoy!
