Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg Heavy Rain Causes Road & Attraction Closures

We travel from The Old Mill in Pigeon Forge Tennessee into Downtown Gatlinburg to go for a walk to share the sights & sounds of a rainy day in The Smokies.

To recap with the tree vs car. Car was not operable, too much front end damage. I assessed the gentlemen involved for injuries, despite being shaken up having a hard time standing with so much adrenaline he was fine. 911 was called and correct resources were requested. Pigeon Forge Police had a great response, helped clear the road & assisted traffic while a tow truck could get the vehicle off the road. Always be alert, don't drive distracted.
