Probable truth speculation vs planted absurdities; authority, good & evil, and the nature of truth.

It's probably a good rule of thumb that if something is used to mock and discourage anyone distrustful of authority figures, then that thing meant to provide association with the absurd is a planted absurdity meant to cloud things and enable fallacy of composition.

Many things may be unknowable, especially in an era of controlled information and false "facts", yet discernment and guesswork are still possible regardless of being surrounded by mockers and outright liars. We see in a mirror darkly....

Truth is truth regardless of committee, and lies are lies even when said by emperors and their echelons of yesmen. Sometimes you can only guess, but things done will often be for either wealth or philosophy. IMO, it's better to throw darts than to take the word of those who would treat most fellow humans as mere cattle.
