We set out to spend 3 days camping at the KOA in Santa Cruz and visiting 3 different beaches along the California coast. The 3 beaches we visited were New Brighton California State Beach, Sunset California State Beach, and Pajaro Dunes Sunset State Beach. All three beaches were amazing to spend the day. We explored New Brighton State Beach and found lots of shells. Day 2 we spent the day at Sunset State beach where we Surf Fished and caught a Dungeness Crab that we successfully released. The final day was spent near Pajaro Dunes Resor, which is also on Sunset State Beach.
Our camping location was at the KOA Santa Cruz Holiday. This was an amazing place to take the whole family. It is filled with amazing amenities. Some our favorites were the heated pool, Giant Pillow, clean bathrooms, and the huge playground.
