Someday When Things Are Good . George McClure . Haggard

Lab Series L5 on the nylon string, just a fragment of the Haggard masterpiece. George had the late 50's - early 60's nylon rebuilt with new ebony board, Schallers, and handcarved ivory nut & saddle, after installing an LR Baggs Classic passive pickup for the sound you hear here.
Why does George play a nylon string? "I like it. It's fun to play. You can't get those tones or sounds with steel strings. A standard $24,000 Ramirez or $60,000 Kono will get competely lost in the live band mix, no matter the pickup EQ and fx. A low-end laminate will not, it has the timbre that stands out and is mixable" George says.
