Info from Licensor: A truck did not want to wait for the bike traffic to pass and decided he would go ahead and pass with oncoming traffic as he almost went head on with a vehicle he then swerved into the group of bikes almost running over many. We then came to a stop light where words were exchanged and all hell broke lose as this man intentionally tried to run people over and kept turning around to come back for another try." - Dale Kiesgen

I will have to say initially I was impressed with the riders. As many as they were they seemed to follow the traffic laws, but a short time into it, that stopped, even though on motor bikes they are still considered motorists, and are required to follow traffic laws, which means staying on their side of the road and obeying traffic lights which they began to ignore, as well as going into the oncoming lane. Although I do not in any way condone the mane in the truck going after them I do feel they should be held accountable for all their traffic violations. Their riding became petty reckless and dangerous, and they should not get away with it.

They are a dangerous as hell. Someone they're going to screw with the wrong person and they'll be attended a number of funerals. They endangered more than one life. Cut someone off, he curses at them and they surround him to damage his vehicle or threaten him and his family. Do that to me and you 'll find out why I carry conceal. They give decent bikers a bad name and scream out for more laws against them and then whine they are passed.

Add a comment...You sir, are absolutely correct. There is no excuse for that kind of riding on a public street. As part of the gimme generation they want to do whatever they want, whenever they want, with no consequences. Most likely their consequences will be a short life, hopefully before they have a chance to pass on the "stupid gene". We had a biker where I live doing 110 MPH in a 30 MPH zone when someone pulled out in front of him. All his biker friends couldn't believe the other driver wasn't charged. Big topic of discussion at the biker's funeral.

The guy in the pick-up should be arrested for various assault charges including vehicular assault. He knocked over a couple bikes and chased the riders after they got off their bikes, he dug up the lawn at the church as he was trying to run over some people. The pick-up driver was a lunatic.

Add a comment...Well, that's one side of the story. I saw a lot of traffic laws being broken and a group of bikers physically assaulting the occupant of the truck. He had every reason to be in fear for his life and therefore had every right to defend himself by whatever means he could.

exactly. if running over a few bikes is what it takes to extract himself of this situation, so be it. Sadly He didn't take out more.

Yup, then the rest run from the scene like a bunch of whiney brats (after the cops arrive) while patting themselves on the back.

You can not blame the truck driver entirely. Your driving exhibits a total disregard to the lives and safety of all motorist on the way. Countless violations were observed, too many to document. You screwed with the wrong person and he played bumper bikes . This is not a group of cyclist out for a Sunday drive, this is a mob bent on self serving gratification. When you attacked the drivers vehicle, you really didn't expect him to not retaliate ? Further , you just caused the incident by your demeanor.

So what was the reason for the original post, to point out the truck driver or the number of traffic laws the bikers had broken? The vid is almost 20 mins long. Why did it take the cops so long to show up !?
