ANC, BRICS hold meeting in South Africa ahead of August summit

More than 40 countries are hoping to join the BRICS group of fast-emerging economies, according to South Africa's representative to the group. The statement was made after representatives from dozens of the bloc's delegations and applicants met with the ruling ANC party.
