Our Sun Wakes from a Solar Snooze | Solar Storm Forecast 06.12.2022
This Space Weather News forecast sponsored in part by Millersville University:
https://www.millersville.edu/swen
This week our Sun wakes up from a two week nap with a new M-flare player rotating into Earth view and a new chance of aurora from fast solar wind sent to us courtesy of a big coronal hole rotating into the Earth-strike zone. This means both aurora photographers and amateur radio operators have reasons to celebrate. Solar flux is also well back into the triple digits, ensuring radio propagation stays in the good range on Earth's dayside over this next week and with more regions rotating into view ver the next few days, these good conditions are here to stay for a while. Lean the details of the new M-flare player, see when the coronal hole will be sending us a chance for aurora, and find out what more our Sun has in store!
