Potato Casserole

Ingredients:
▫️Potatoes - 1 kg
▫️Ground meat - 500 g
▫️Onions - 2 pieces
▫️Salt/pepper (to taste)
▫️Tomato paste - 2 tbsp
▫️Cheese - 100 g
▫️Bay leaf - 1 piece
▫️Oil - 2 tbsp
▫️Milk - 1 cup

Step-by-step recipe / ⏱ 1 hour 20 minutes

1. Peel and slice the potatoes.
2. In a separate pan, cook the ground meat with chopped onions, adding salt and pepper to taste.
3. Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
4. In a casserole dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, then spread the cooked ground meat over them.
5. Add the tomato paste and bay leaf to the meat layer.
6. Layer the remaining potatoes on top.
7. Pour milk over the layers and drizzle with oil.
8. Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
9. Remove the foil, sprinkle grated cheese over the top, and bake for an additional 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
