"The Valkyrie" the second of four symphonic dramas composed by German composer Richard Wagner that comprise his work "The Ring of the Nibelung". The opera first performed in sequence at the Festspielhaus in Bayreuth, Bavaria, Germany, starting on August 13th and ending the event on August 17th, 1876 A.D.
