Pyrolysis Tyre Oil - chemical treatments experiment

The video is about an attempt to clean a sample of stinky and dark tyre pyrolysis oil with some chemicals in order to identify the best way of this type of fuel processing method.
The following steps were taken:
Add about 0.5 to 1% of concentrated sulfuric acid.
Mix the oil with acid for at least 10 minutes.
Separate the oil from the sour tar.
Add 0.2% of triethanolamine. And mix for 30 min.
Now filter the resulting fuel or run it through a centrifuge.
Personally I do not like this method - because it is too messy.
