Federal Reserve introduces 'Fed Now Service' to eliminate slow money

A new system called the “Fed Now Service” is being implemented by the Federal Reserve to improve the speed of transferring money between companies, banks, and people. Plans are underway for the service to be integrated into thousands of banks nationwide in order to make receiving, accessing, and transferring funds a rapid and convenient process for everyone, no matter the time of day or day of the year.
