Here Is Why You Should Always Check Your Shoes Before Stepping In

Let’s just say that looking at the inside of your shoe can be pretty similar to opening the Pandora’s box. There are a lot of things you can find in the nooks and crevices of your shoes, the smallest and most irritable rocks, the sand of Sahara, the deadliest smell created by many hours of running in them and apparently, as of lately, a baby cobra.

Yes, you’ve heard it right, someone found a baby cobra inside their shoes. This, thankfully avoided, incident happened on June 16, 2016 in Bangalore, India. The man was about to put his leather shoes on when he thought he heard something. Thankfully, he went on to investigate and decided to prod the inside of his left shoe with a stick. Out came the tiny tail of an even tinier baby cobra. The man tried to make the cobra leave his shoe, but was quite unsuccessful. The tiny critter burrowed even further inside the shoe. After a few more pokes, the baby finally realized that it is not welcome inside the shoe and left to find refuge elsewhere.

These kinds of occurrences aren’t rare in these places. Apparently, as soon as the rainy season starts, most of the animals living on the ground seek refuge in higher places because their homes get flooded from the amount of rain that falls down.
