Deer are constantly feeding on natural vegetation which is what they primarily get on Public Land. So, if you evaluate the food sources around your private land and add the foods that are missing you can drastically improve the probability of getting deer on your property. Soft mast is a major attractant to whitetail deer. Apples are probably at the top of the list. Plant a few of these trees on your property, with different varieties maturing at key times of the season, "And Bang", you've got a tremendous advantage over other private or public land that don't have them. And once they are there, then you've got to be ready for the shot! You need to watch this video and get prepared to attract and get your buck!
