Gigantic snapping turtle thinks he's a lap dog

Tank is a 40 pound snapping turtle who loves to climb up on his owner's lap. He seems to believe he's some kind of lap dog! Despite having a massive head and powerful jaws, he is a gentle giant that only wants to cuddle. Steve, his owner and buddy, raised him from a silver dollar size hatchling. Tank is only 7 years old. These turtles are believed to be capable of living to well over 100 years. Tank spends his out time being as close to Steve as possible. He's a valued member of the family.
