Trials Double-Blip Practice Training

This is the full version of a practice / training session of the "Double-Blip" technique.

This is used for medium sized obstacles and helps get more bike lift in less space with less speed by lifting the front with one power "blip" and then allowing the front tire to impact the log followed by the second power blip.

The front suspension rebound is added to the rider's jump to help get extra lift with less speed while keeping the skid plate of the bike clear of the log.

If done correctly, the rear tire should NOT bounce away from the log but should stay in contact and keep the skid plate elevated.

This is Glynn learning and me trying to demonstrate.

Shot with the Canon Digital ELF pocket camera. Song is "Defying Gravity" by Jesse Winchester to fill in on the slow motion parts.
