My view of God's Kingdom on Earth involves plenty of gardens and flowers where this time, we ignore Satan and his silly manipulations and deception.

Even in the densest urban areas of the USA we can celebrate our Lord Jesus Christ, eternal life and renewal. Today we pray in the Spirit again, as guided by the Holy Spirit. We are in the center of Houston, Texas (population = 2.2 million in 2021)

Praying in the Spirit heals the physical body and also, protects us from demonic influences that are often hanging around urban centers. Please join me in prayer.

The ministry of Jesus involved three things: sharing the good news of the Kingdom of God, healing the sick, and casting out demons.

You work directly with God. I point you to prayers, Scripture, and resources so you can learn more, purify yourself, defend yourself and open to the Holy Spirit.

Humans are increasingly enslaved by prescription drugs, alcohol, greed, political drama, technology, and other addictions that lure us to take our eyes off God and what God has in mind for our lives. Our work as Disciples in Christ brings our attention back to God.

Scriptural basis for this prayer activity and the prayer content include:

1 Corinthians 12:30-31:
Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? Now eagerly desire the greater gifts.

Galatians 5: 22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

1 Corinthians 14:4a
Anyone who speaks in a tongue edifies themselves.

1 Corinthians 14:2
For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit.

2 Corinthians 10:3 - 5
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Romans 7:6
But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.

Luke 10:19
I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; none will harm you.

Luke 11:20 - 52
But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the Kingdom of God has come upon you.

John 4:23-24 Jesus says,
"Yet the time is coming and has now come when true the true worshippers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshippers must worship in the Spirit and in truth."

In Matthew 12: 31-32 Jesus says,
"And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come."

John 14: 12-14
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
